TahuaroaPerfect for functions of all shapes and sizes
Tahuaroa, meaning large open space, is located behind Te Rau Aroha Museum amongst the native trees of the upper Treaty Grounds. With its own private entrance, wraparound decking and contemporary design, Tahuaroa has a natural feel – its customisable format makes the ideal space for conferences, functions, meetings, weddings and events.
Fitted with a partitioning wall, Tahuaroa can be adapted into three separate rooms, Tahuaroa (200m2), Hokianga (140m2) and Taumarere (60 m2). Each room comes with integrated technology controls, floor power points, speakers, projectors and air conditioning. The large stacking doors open out onto private covered deck and courtyard area, perfect for outdoor entertainment and indoor-outdoor flow.
The attached kitchen can provide a range of catering options, including morning and afternoon tea, a la carte or buffet lunches and dinners, cocktails and canapes and upmarket gala events.
The event space has disabled access and 7 private toilets.
