Aotearoa New Zealand's histories - Professional Learning

Deepen your professional understanding about Aotearoa New Zealand’s histories through a visit to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

Join us for an educator-led tour through Te Kōngahu Museum of Waitangi and explore contexts of national significance that led to the developments of the two major agreements between iwi and the British Crown, He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Compare and contrast Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Treaty of Waitangi. Examine the history of contests over authority and control, and how these continue to impact our society today.
