Assistant Accountant (Fixed Term)

We are looking for a newly qualified, partly qualified accountant or an experienced accounting technician to carry out general accounting and financial reporting at Waitangi Treaty Grounds. This is a fixed term position in the first instance, with potential for ongoing work, and is suitable for a partly qualified person with experience.

The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely reporting and support to the organisation, including ensuring accuracy of accounting inputs, efficiency of processing and validation of outputs. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be liaising with internal staff and external clients. A high attention to detail is essential as is a can-do attitude and willingness to work in a small team.

Experience using Xero accounting software is an advantage.

Café Assistant

Volunteers

We're looking for highly motivated volunteers at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

Volunteer positions are available in Te Kōngahu Museum of Waitangi, working in our heritage gardens and working on the beautiful Treaty Grounds.

These are all roles that involve customer interaction so we are seeking volunteers who love to meet people and who can help to make the experience of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds a memorable one.
